Children's Dungarees

Knitted quilts

I love to knit, and initially started this project to also use up all the wool I had gathered from a previous project, but this escalated and now cost me probably four times the amount of just buying a throw. Money can't buy this satisfaction though.

Children's stripped Cape

I'm very pro zero waste and get a kick out of using everything up, so once I finished University and was left with hundreds of half and quarter metres of fabric, I had the idea to make capes for children's charities. Using just a triangle template, I constructed 32 fully lined capes (built out of 20 triangles each) and sent them to Loving Hands, St Ormond St Hospital and Children's Hope.

Vogue Wrap Dress

Easy Wear Cardigan

Tartan 60's Pinafore

Recycled Denim Pinafore

For years I saved old pairs of jeans in the hope that one day I would make my own denim pinafore or dress rather than buy one for £40/50. This design is built up of 4 pairs of jeans and I couldn't be more thrilled with the final outcome.

Soft Toys

By taking apart a spare duvet I was able to create 22 soft toys to send to St Ormond St Hospital last summer. I had a surplus of faux fur fabric and only needed to buy the plastic eyes to create all my little creatures. I have so much to give and I plan to make sure I donate at least one box of goodies a year to people less fortunate.

Chiffon and Pleather Blouse

Patchwork Duvet Cover

Created to use up scrap pieces of fabric I had accumulated over the years. In total, I have now made 4 of these; two singles and two doubles.
